I prefer the Swedish acronym HBTQ, even shorter. Merges L and G as homosexual. I don’t mind if people use more letters but it just invited ridicule and is frankly beats the point of the original acronym which is supposed to include everyone.
giving a shit about what bigots think is pointless. I use queer for brevity but I will go at it with anyone who tries to mock additional letters getting added on. being more inclusive is never a bad thing.
Could argue that the more groups you specify with new letters the more groups will be left out as it no longer feels like it represents everyone if they don’t get their own letter, making it less inclusive.
