Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in China. Modi has urged Putin to galvanise efforts to end the war in Ukraine and to secure a lasting peace.
