So, AA is drawing to an end and I finally did the honemeister part of HoneMeisterschaft: Refreshing the edge. It really wasn’t necessary yet, but them’s the rules.
The new edge is sharper ATG, but I also got a weeper, so it seems like it’s a bit harsher than the old edge, too.

Easy hotel shave. One of the better Tusk lathers I’ve gotten recently. I think Santa Noir might be a good travel/work aftershave for me. It smells nice but isn’t overly strong. The dry down is mellow enough that it shouldn’t bother any coworkers, some of whom I have to work in close quarters with.

- Fragrance: Mäurer & Wirtz - Sir Irisch Moos - Eau de Cologne
2 passes. Face lather. Good shave.
This penultimate AA shave was extremely comfortable and between DFS and BBS in closeness. I wanted to see what result I could get with my ““typical”” 2-pass shave to assess wear on the edge. As I have been experiencing, it has lost keenness.
I stropped after this shave so that on the last shave of the month I can wrap up my stropping experiment by trying a stropped, worn, edge and comparing it to an unstropped one.
