First of all the writing and creativity is a step up from the first season embracing the supernatural aspects of the video games but also keeping it grounded and poignant but not being afraid to be goofy to get a merry laugh out of you.

Secondly the release schedule was amazing giving us two episodes a week which felt like sitting down on a Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal watching a line-up of your favorite cartoon mimicking that dedicated viewing time. Felt like a ritual every week but not a creepy Holy Men one.

The story and the performances were amazing. Anthony Mackie convinced me he’s a great actor after swearing him off years ago after that Altered Carbon season but if he’s given a good script he just blows it out of the water. I honest thought I’d never see Stephanie Beatriz again after B99 but I love Quiet more than Rosa now. Saylor Curda’s Mayhem grew on me this season and whatever Vader thing they have going on with Sweet Tooth is working and hope they don’t change it.

The whole season is out now if you want to catch up. There’s a lot of good shows out right now, new Dexter, Foundation, Alien: Earth, SNW but if you get the time Twisted Metal will not disappoint.
