You too can own all the fun of asking “why don’t I like this game? It’s a perfectly fine game, but why do I not enjoying playing it?”

It’s definitely not for everyone. It’s extremely atmospheric, and confusing because of the layout of The Oldest House. But holy shit is it a great piece of gaming art. The maze is the best part, dat soundtrack!

Yeah it’s worth playing it with headphones just for the sound design- the creepy ambient noises, the Threshold Kids, and the final sequence with the Ashtray Maze.

Yeah. Its real pretty, and it started off feeling cool. Definitely neat ideas and scenes. Then about a dozen hours in I was just forcing myself to finish to see the ending, but the combat was so fucking repetitive and stale. Slamming random objects at enemies was real cool at first but it just never evolved with any other fun things. Slam shoot wait. Slam shoot wait. Slam shoot wait. Slam shoot wait. Uuuugggghhhhhhh
