I see how you got tripped up though, your palmaris longus is a little indistinct and your carpi radialis is very distinct so it looks very similar and I didn’t explain it as clearly as I could. (Your palmaris longus is the one that’s more towards your pinky btw)
Try making a fist and flexing your wrist as much as you can , the difference should be a bit clearer. The palmaris longus goes over the flexor retinaculum (kind of like the wristwatch areaom the inside of your hand) all the way, while the flexor carpi radialis goes deep and shouldn’t stand out as much. (Try flexing only plantarly and not in the thumb direction if the difference still isn’t clear)
