TLDR; 2 years unemployed, got a job this summer with a homelessness org through Americorps, then americorps wouldn’t approve funding - now they have, and the person who hired me wants me back!
Kind of confusing, but idk how else to really explain it. But, its my first non-tech job as an adult, and im happy to get the fuck out of that field and do some work that actually makes me feel something other than frustration and dread.

Do you know if you’ll be doing monthly Service Projects with a bigger AmeriCorps team? That was my favorite part of AmeriCorps. Sometimes we just did trash cleanup and stuff but one time I helped build a playground.

Oh its been overwhelming for sure, my partner finishes moving the last of her stuff in this weekend, album release show on Tuesday at the biggest venue ive played, then tour, and now this.
All good things to be overwhelmed by, but still overwhelming nonetheless if im being dead ass.
