Before hippies became such outright reactionaries, I used to hear about “conscious communities”, basically tourists spots where trust fund kids go and do yoga. Goa is probably the most famous example, but they seem to be everywhere in Central/South America and Oceana/South/Southeat Asia.
I think it’s a sad fact that people with the resources to do nothing for long stretches of time are gonna have zero communists. (unless you count the workers)

4wds should not be allowed on beaches except for access to piers and bost ramps. Super destructive to the ecosystem and wildlife especially dune birds, turtles and the like
God I absolutely HATE people that drive their trucks and SUVs to the fucking beach. Park your fucking vehicle at the side of the road and walk for 3 minutes, for fucks sake.
Honestly people do it to justify to themselves WHY they needed to spend an extra 15k on their vehicle, by driving in nature 3 times in 10 years.
