With all secret shells, hearts containers and 0 deaths. Was a fun experience but a challenge I will not do again.

Was intending on playing links awakening again. But I happened to do so since I just got a switch lite and was trying out some games on it. Then I got sucked back in.

Such a classic game

Weird(?) question but did they “fix” the issue where you could “miss” a shell? Back in the older versions they had that… It was even in the DX version. Though I guess it’s more of a feature than a bug?

    Congrats!

I did the same, but I think I had one death at the start. The game rocks and is one of my favorites on Switch, but it doesn’t have great replay value (I’m not into speed-running).

I did the same w/ Skyward Sword, which is my favorite on Switch. Hero mode on that game is much harder IMO.

I played about 6 hours of skyward sword on switch 2 and I couldn’t get used to the controls so I stopped playing. Its a bummer because I really wanted to see the story :(

That’s fair, I didn’t like the controls much either, but I got used to it after a while.

The story progresses pretty similarly to Ocarina of Time:

        1. Tutorial island where you can explore and learn controls
        2. Three worlds to explore
        3. Big plot event after 2
        4. Return to worlds from 2, but expanded
        5. Final dungeon

I’m obviously skipping stuff and keeping things intentionally vague to avoid spoilers, my point is it felt like it followed a similar formula.

I love the original and it still inches this one out. With that said, try the original again. Since if you like it and want more you have the oracle games to play

I personally prefer DX. The GB printer bonus gives the game such a personality which is sadly missing.

If it was the same price I’d say pick the one you wanna play, but since it’s more expensive it’s not doing anything which makes it worth more.

At MSRP it’s price is crazy
