Yeah, PL stands for the Palestine lira (because the Ottoman currency was lira), which was also called the Palestine pound. You’ll see PL used by people who would have called it the lira (usually Palestinians and Jordanians, who were used to liras from pre-mandate), and LP (or £P) used by the English.
