Giving very Uncanny Valley.
It’s because (in addition to it being a fake photo) we’re so used to seeing his mouth closed when he smiles… i.e. a forced, media smile.
People also just smile in different ways I for one would never smile with teeth

The first and currently only person to run for the US presidency from prison was a socialist called Eugene V. Debs, he also helped found the IWW and the DSA. He was repeatedly arrested for labour activism and criticising the foreign policy of the USA until he died in 1926.
Didn’t John McAfee (the antivirus guy turned crazy hillbilly) try to run for president from prison? I seem to remember something about that, but it may have been a fever dream.
