This subreddit says the next day is the 19th. That’s all I need to know.
I went to my state capital on the 5th and got to listen to some people talking…I agreed with some, disagreed with some…and I agree having the tables and pep rally thing was good.
I don’t need all that on the 19th.
I’ll go back to the same place at the same time and wave my flag around.
I want to recognize the efforts of the volunteers and hear the cries for help with needing more volunteers and more organizers etc. 100%, yes!
However, just because they don’t have the resources to bring a state senator and setup speakers and hold sign-ups every month doesn’t mean I can’t go.
I 1000% have the resources I need to stand up and wave my flag. So do many of you.
Pep rallys every week aren’t sustainable. Lawn chairs and signs and marches are.
I loved the pep rally protest, that was cool. I want another every so often. We cried, we laughed, we hugged, we got mad…but I’m going to the protest with or without programming. I know where, and I know when.
I think you should too.

This is terrible advice.
I know where, and I know when.
Yeah no that’s why you set a date because we’re not working around this one rando, it’s why the poster says (a weekend!) because most people dont know, and that’s the first thing a lot of people need to know. If this person wants to do more there are lots of outlets to do so, that’s great. But do not ignore these large gatherings.
That’s nice. It’s always fun to chill with friends.
But what constructive efforts are you going to take?
