    Calvin fully deserves whatever is coming his way.

    (Which doesn’t include corporal punishment, since Watterson was unusually enlightened for his time)

        His punishment from me would have been entirely environmental, as I can’t be held responsible for yeeting a child across a house when I’m not properly awake.

    What a superb choice from BW, to show the moment before the loud noise, rather than the action and its consequences.

    I feel like it makes it ten times funnier to be witness to that last possible chance for Calvin not to do this, for part of us to be going, “Noooooo, doooooon’t!!!” almost in slow motion, even though we know it’s much too late.

    Masterful.
