Youtube is a little better but not much. It has enough of a monopoly position already.
Sadly the world still hasnt adopted modern IPv6 standards, because those would make livestream platforms something anyone can run for cheap by using multicasting. Then you would only need to connect a chat system to it but thats comparably lightweight.
It’s owned by amazon. Time to look for alternatives.
