The batteries are probably the same or better since China dominates battery/EV battery tech. I’d imagine the Toyota and BMW ones are just sourced from Chinese battery companies

Most non-chinese (and a lot of chinese) EVs, such as BMW currently use NMD, it’s slightly denser, but has to be cooled more and has a shorter life.
