Camel-riding Humanoid Underground Dwellers? I don’t think they exist.

Actually I’m saying it in the hopes that Danny Blackner will one day leap at me from on high with murderous intent

        I thought that was:

        Cave-dwelling

        Half-drunk

        Asinine

        Dudebrah

I only manage half of those at most, would love a cave to call my own.

I’d heard lava tubes pitched as one of the more straightforward ways of building a moon base, fascinating to learn that this would actually be a return to form for human dwellings.

Humans: we just like living in lava tubes.

Did you even read the article? Its about lava tubes in Saudi Arabia hosting hunter-gatherers, herders, and other generations of humans from the desert heat. Its not some inner earth conspiracy theory. Also why would the Smithsonian host Inner Earth conspiracy theories? From the article,

In the lava tubes, archaeologists discovered human bones, animal remains and stone tools. They also found rock art featuring cattle, sheep, goats and dogs, which aligns with ideas that prehistoric people of the region kept livestock.
