In a OnePoll survey of 1,000 Americans. only 44% said they will have June 19 off from work this year in commemoration of Juneteenth.

Since when do companies care about federal holidays? If you get Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day and July 4th off you’re amongst the lucky ones.

I’ve had off for both Juneteenth and Columbus Day and all federal holidays at multiple different private companies that used the Federal Holiday Schedule as their holiday schedule

It’s clearly not rare if 44% of Americans are getting a work holiday on Juneteenth.

Perhaps no surprise, but Florida government employees do not get it.

Florida seems pretty stingy with the holidays overall.

I only get Christmas, Thanksgiving, and July 4th off.
