Unfortunately, active or hot tend to do this for some reason. Not sure the logic of Lemmy but I usually just look at new.
This is definitely on lemmy’s end and there’s not much memmy can do without causing issues.
Active shows posts that were recently commented on, regardless of the age of the post. You want to browse by hot or top.
