You can touch belly, then kitty gets to touch your hand with teeth. Everyone wins.
My girl will let you pet the belly for as long as you want. It’s the best thing ever.
My mother’s cat took his time. It was purring for a minute followed by a surprise attack. He liked belly rubs, but he was an asshole on top of that.
Ah, well all cats are different. A past cat of mine would run up to me and jump on my lap requesting pets, and belly rubs. Then after a while he would start trying to bite me, while still sitting on my lap, and also refuse to leave my lap.
I know a trap when I see one…
But how could I not touch that belly!
