    It’s crappy indeed. And it’s not limited to Gemini/Bard, either.

    But it’s an ‘AI’ with no real ability to think and rationalise - what do people expect?

        Yep, this is the point. I’ve spent my entire 10+ year career in Silicon Valley startups. I know the game, and I know Google’s late-to-the-game AI was trained on bullshit SV sensitivities and this is the obvious outcome.

        Overcorrection to perceived racism that’s ACTUALLY racist. Like outright refusing to generate an image of a white middle-ages European king or queens.
