The closest I know of is !tabletopminis@lemmy.world but it’s mostly people posting minis they’ve painted. It’s also not the most active. There’s also !minipainting@lemmy.ml but the newest post is from 4 months ago.
Reddit, Twitter, and Kbin refugee. Bluesky is cool, though.

I remember hearing they dropped HBO from the name because HBO is associated with more adult oriented content and they wanted to to show they have more than that. But since the name change they’ve been dropping Cartoon Network shows every time you turn around.
This is just a guess, but looking at satellite images it looks like there could be dry river beds in the desert. Maybe the area gets enough rain to have them, but not enough for them to lead anywhere.
While I don’t play any, I’m pretty sure miniature games like Warhammer could definitely take up that much room, especially with four players. A rpg like D&D could use that space too if the party is fighting through an army of undead or some giant monster.
Since it seems more like a board game where everything is in the box, The Campaign of North Africa is considered one of the most complex games made. It’s play area is 34 by 115 inches when all laid out and it’s unknown if anyone ever finished playing a full game.
So yes, games can take up that much space, but they’re typically super nerdy.
While I’m sure it could be a great game, it’ll never happen. WB just canceled a Wonder Woman game and shut down its developer. If they don’t have faith on a game based on one of their most well known characters, there’s no way they’d even green light a game based on a lower tier hero. A detective game based on the Question would be great too, but since he’s not one of DC’s top heroes it’ll never happen.
My Instagram feed has gotten more left since Trump took office again, but I have also started following more political and activist accounts. I noticed as I was leaving Facebook the less I interacted with things the more insane posts the algorithm would show me. It could be if Meta doesn’t know what you want to see it just shows you the worst hoping you engage somehow.
If just want to here random people’s stories Beautiful /Anonymous is really good. Each episode the host, Chris Gethard, takes a phone call from a stranger and they talk for an hour about whatever the caller wants. Some episodes are light and goofy while others can get pretty dark. It’s definitely one of my favorite podcasts.
I don’t use categories, but I do keep a tab open with this loaded with my Steam ID. It uses all the tags games have on Steam so you can see if you have a 2D Sci-Fi Souls-like if you want.
They’re treating him like he tried to blow up Gotham City when all he did was kill Lex Luthor.
The Yogscast is a group of gaming YouTubers and streamers and the Jingle Jam is a big charity fundraiser they do every December.
Out of curiosity OP, did you watch the Yogacast Jingle Jam? I ask because someone mentioned the Baggar 288 during one of the streams the other day and fell down a similar Wiki hole.
Getting a movie doesn’t mean the show’s ending. Just off the top of my head The Simpsons, Rugrats, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force all had movies mid run.
Sounds like someone didn’t like getting made John Romero’s bitch.
I want a city builder with a Civ-like timeline. You start off building huts and farms and keep on going until you get space elevators and fusion power. I want to see roads go from footpaths to trails for horse drawn carriages to full on highways. I also like the idea that you could choose your starting period so it could be used as a standard city builder too.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that forgot about the hotdog costume. At the beginning of the series I was really expecting Jack and Rosie to have more of an odd couple vibe, but it’s been cute to see the two of them work so well together.
I’m really amazed how quickly Emma figured out Andy was lying, only to turn around and start guessing specific foods instead of going by food groups or colors or something broader.
Nazi punks pillows fuck off.
There’s also an episode where Frank is wearing a Cactus Jack shirt and his hat says Foley Artist, both of which refer the the same wrestler.
Ticket to Ride. Building out your rail network is so satisfying.
I’d be down for Baldur’s Gate II and Unpacking. Thanks for doing this.
