As long as your headphones are Bluetooth, they will continue to work fine.

I haven’t run Graphene OS since I broke my Pixel 3a and went with a different device. But when I did run it, it was perfectly fine.

With that said, I ran lineage before I ran graphene and I ran lineage after I moved away from graphene.

I’m using cinnamon, but I probably should be using gnome.

Use only services that don’t require ID and laugh at the people who do and say I told you so.

Edit: I see myself more and more turning to the tor network and hidden services for daily usage.

This may be a dumb question, but do you happen to know if you block a router on your client? Will you just not receive any packets that that router would otherwise send?

I tried it once and it still received packets from other nodes. So I’m not certain if that was intended behavior or not.

You dont decrease your tx range, you slightly decrease your rx range. In my case my battery drained 22% faster with rx boosted gain turned on.

It might help some if you turn off SX-126X RX Boosted Gain. That took my sensecap from 2 days and 19 hours of battery life to 3 days and 6 hours.

Mind you, that’s not a great option if you live far from a router or client node. Also, make sure your node is set into client mute so that it’s not attempting to re-broadcast other people’s messages. Since the tdeck is a handheld the rebroadcasts from it dont get very far and just cause more chutil for no good reason on nearby high nodes.

Switch DNS to a provider that supports DoH or DoT is about the only thing you can really do.

Without using a VPN or proxy, your ISP is going to be able to do DPI and know what connections you make. There really is no way around that.

These are only going to get more accurate as time goes on, and we begin to use higher and higher frequencies. This works at 2.4 GHz, but would work better at 5 GHz, and would work even better at 6 GHz. The reason for this is that the higher the frequency is, the smaller it is, and therefore the more accurate it can be, and it requires more access point devices, which would make the signal stronger in an area with an access point.

Why not just put logins in a database such as keepass and then have the password for that written down in like a lock box or something?

You could also store a flash drive with the password in the lock box and update it, say, every six months with the most current database version.

That very well could be, as I mentioned earlier, you might get yourself a VPS and set up an SSH tunnel or something like that, but otherwise I have no idea.

I do know that you can use signal over tor because I do so, but I only use it for the sending messages and voice messages part. As I said, I think the audio call uses UDP and tor is TCP only to the best of my knowledge.

The only other thing I could think of would be to try a mix net such as Nym.

Oh, I see. I don’t think you can make calls over tor because I think it’s TCP only. Not UDP.

Could it be an IP addressing problem by chance where the telecom provider doesn’t support say IPv6 while your home network is IPv6? If so, they may not be blocking it, so much as it’s not possible to make the connection to begin with.

You could potentially get your own VPS server and set that up as a VPN server that way you’re not connecting to a known VPN.

Edit: You might also try using Tor.

I actually really like this one with the shield and the lock. I think that’s a fantastic idea.
