I’ve been here, I don’t blame them for not stopping by.

If you’re actually hungry I can help you find food.
And also completely unrelated to Communism.
American’s don’t like anything.
I’m offended sir, now if you’ll excuse me, I need to attend to my hamburger!
The theater here does a half price deal on Tuesdays, two of us can go for like $12.95, it’s a great deal.
Might be worth checking in your area, I’ve seen a lot more mediocre movies after we started going on Tuesday.
Mayo and sour cream are like 80% of the sauces in most restaurants.
If you were defending Christians believing Jesus is the Son of God people would probably be flipping their shit.
I adore ikura.
Slimy textures make me retch.
I had an 8th grade social studies teacher/football coach tell us black people had an extra bone in their leg and that’s why they were so good at sports. He was pretty well liked teacher tbh, we watched Oliver Stones “JFK” in his class. During lectures he’d come around and sit on the front of his desk to seem more relatable. He ended up on the school board eventually.
For me it’s not a taste thing, it’s a texture thing.
I was on a camping trip last year and we were all hanging out under this canopy hiding from the sun. There were little bugs/gnats flying around near the peak of the canopy, tiny things.
At one point a wasp got into the canopy and spent the next 10 minutes attacking and killing the smaller gnats with surgical precision. It would hover, relatively motionless compared to the gnats, and when they came into range (maybe 25-50mm) the wasp would shoot forward and grab the smaller gnat.
It was impressive, I still hate wasps and it reinforced that they’re jerks; but it was impressive and I won’t soon forget it.
Newest episode of “Weird Little Guys” just came out a few days ago and she tells this exact same story. He was such a communist he didn’t even know who Marx was.
The anticommunist action/red scare stuff really did a number on any truly “left” movement in the U.S. and is a large part of why we’re here.
It’s cool to see the person that made that decision just own it.
“Yeah I like nipples so I put them on there.”
“Developed new scheme to receive kickbacks.”
Probably how she got the job.
Yeah I saw that comment elsewhere. I have to assume kettle/stove material/design/etc have some impact as well. Honestly, I trust TC so I’ll defer to them, I need to watch the video.
edit: yeah his testing is in-line with my experience, electric kettles are just faster.
Oh god Vietnamese coffee is so fucking good, it’s like crack I swear.
Thai iced tea is absolutely incredible and makes use of it as well, highly recommend.
edit: I actually just had Hong Kong milk tea just last week, it was great!
I just start the kettle first, by the time I’ve got my mug and tea all gathered up the water is ready.
I loved sun tea growing up, sit your jug out there early when the day is really warming up and by the afternoon you could have a nice icy glass of sweet tea.
Supposedly it’s a bit dangerous because the water doesn’t get hot enough to kill any bacteria that would be on the bags or something. “Refrigerator Tea” is apparently a thing now but I haven’t given it a shot, maybe I will soon, Cold brew coffee is ok, maybe coldbrew tea is great also.
Tea, instant ramen, oatmeal, eggs, electric kettles are awesome and really convenient.
Is that bottle actually labeled “Poy-sian” like poison?
