Digital currency without “blockchain”, say it ain’t so! This is why I think it might actually work. It’s not based on some kind of Rube Goldberg experiment to run the world power into nothingness.
His mom called, it’s a Nintendo.
Uhh… I did most things in the hospital before my wife gave birth. The nurses were simply too busy so I started helping with the small stuff and then they said ohh thanks when I’d adjust the baby heart monitor and other sensors that randonlu went off. I of course made sure it was ok with them.
Ransomware purveyors rejoice…
100%
I’ve flown twice this week and fly pretty much monthly to the USA. This was happening 2 years ago. Some sketchy plain clothes guy holding an iPhone as I board the plane with a badge that says FBI has taken my picture a few times. But lately there are small iPad type things next to the boarding counter coming back to Canada. You simply look at it and it verifies you.
Also… Our Canadian passports have our picture digitally embedded in chip that they read at the border to verify your identity. Better believe that is copied and stored along with your biometrics
Needs more women’s undergarments to be truely on point.
Why is my joycon drifting?
Damn good share.
As a smartwatch wearer I kinda wish there was a way I could passively receive information that wasn’t audio or visually oriented. I’ve toyed around with the idea of trying to learn Morse code for this purpose and having some kind of haptic wearable transmit notifications to me.
Get out of here with your ‘logic’.
Wondering, wouldn’t the power generated appear as a reduction of power used on the tenants bill? Meaning the tenant would need to pay the leasing company and tenants are less likely to do that?
Having the power company so this would make perfect sense in that scenario.
Clearly you’ve not heard the new Ben Mulroney am radio show…
Clearly you are not the target audience. For IT pros and tech enthusiasts regularly rebuilding machines and running numerous diagnostic tools from boot, the ability to quickly bootstrap a machines is a massive timesaver. dd is slower and may mean carrying around a lot of usb sticks, something these people all graduated from.
Did you get that thing I sent ya?
X86 configs were painful and fun. Knowing a wrong setting might destroy your monitor was the right amount of adrenaline.
Sorry for the shitty experience and for my comment.
Nah it’s a shitty tech that everyone wants to make happen. It could completely disappear and the tech world.would be no worse off in any way at all. The world could do without it’s absurd draw on resources. And yes I am aware that the large power draw from mining is mostly gone. It’s idle resource usage is sad
