This could be you but you chose to have a “family”

Why have a family when your suffering and sacrifices can buy the CEO’s third wife a 2nd boob job?

“You will eat, by and by, in that glorious land in the sky, way up high. Work and pray; live on hay. You’ll get pie in the sky when you die! …That’s a lie…”

To the grafters we sing this refrain: you will eat, by and by, when you learn how to cook and how to fry! Grab some wood, it’ll do you good, and you’ll eat in the sweet by and by. That’s no lie!

Finally a religion that makes sense. What’s even the point of work if so much of it does not benefit anybody other than company owners and shareholders. An electrician who makes sure the wiring in your house is up to standard so it won’t burn down has a positive impact on the world, but when I look at jobs that match my interests, have relatively good working conditions, and good wages, most of them have no real purpose whatsoever. It all comes down to selling people useless shit they don’t need, so why put in the effort?

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

May I introduce you to my religion?

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

You don’t work hard for a nice grave, you work hard because it’s one of the most straightforward ways to have a nicer life

That’s how it is supposed to be. Let’s keep working to a society that reflects that. edit: typo

I use to be young and poor, and after years of hard work I’m no longer young.

Imagine thinking the company will care enough about a corpse that generates zero income to buy you a plot and headstone.
