    If you don’t want to read the article, the concern is some cows in Ohio essentially bled to death because thousands of these ticks sucked so much of their blood

      That’s crazy. Afaik most North American ticks can’t really penetrate the thick skin of bovine. Even if there’s effective antiparasitics for these idk how you would go about eliminating them from your property.
