The other guy is right, it navigated me away from Lemmy instead of opening an image.
That page also has a Facebook pixel.
You can also just simply screenshot the image and embed into the site. I find that easier but then again I just could never be bothered to get a imgur account.
The only issue with that is it uses up the instance’s resources, which are pretty limited at this stage.
Wouldn’t it be easier to right click -> copy link the image
