It’s a not uncommon belief here that the USSR was chauvinist, even amongst trans accepting feminists. They are wrong, but it’s literally just “USSR bad” levels of knowledge and analysis

Sometimes I remember that Lenin spoke English with an Irish accent because his teacher was Irish, and O’Connelly was part of the Irish diaspora and grew up in Scotland and this apparently had an effect on his accent making it a blend of the two. So if you heard the two speaking you’d have assumed Lenin was the more Irish of the two.

I think the label “TERF” is misleading in the case of guys like this. not only is he not a feminist, he’s not even really pretending to be a feminist. guarantee if you go back 5 years ago you can find tweets from him complaining about feminist SJWs.
