Well, another reason to hate this country.
It’s sad, because I don’t hate the majority of people here, I just hate nationalism and “American values,” AKA propaganda. Most people are just trying grind through their lives under capitalism.

that’s why fascism has taken root – people can’t afford to pay attention and even if they try it’s all a giant echo chamber that labels impartial information as propaganda and anyone trying to share it with you as tankies.

The US simply wants to remind us that they haven’t changed. I personally would not require such reminders to remember but they really WANT to.
