mpv gang
I use both regularly. Sometimes it’s nice to queue up a playlist.
I don’t like customizing software.
video players that close when the file is over>>>
It’s almost as if people want efficient software that does what it’s supposed to do?
But how is that gonna get people to make accounts to get past paywalls?
Billions of devices run traffic cone software. VLC is like the single pillar of stability in my life, if anything were to happen to it I may crumble into dust
amazing as it is on everything else, it is fucking atrocious on ios
i am at least 10 of those
How is line 21 closed caption handling in VLC nowadays?

How to tell someone you watch Technology Connections without telling them you watch Technology Connections (also idk but I just tried a Buffy DVD and it appeared to work fine, whereas my beloved mpv just spat out a bunch of garbage unfortunately)
I knew about line 21 and was a frequent user long before the TC video but it was a pretty good one, I wasn’t even aware computer media players could do it. Nice!

you guys gotta get on the mpc-hc wave
I’ve been using vlc my whole life, can you sell me on why to switch
I’ve just found the performance to be way better. Where VLC would stutter or glitch on seeking, mpc-hc played through without a hitch.
Sounds low tbh
smplayer is better
