Wildly ineffective for the vast majority of cameras in FL, and I’m pretty sure even this is only being done because elections are coming up. They’ll quietly add a different brand back to the highways when they think no one is paying attention.
These things violate the Sixth Amendment, just like speed cameras and red light cameras.
Cut em all down.
Unrelated note, a battery powered circular saw with a low tooth count carbide blade is the fastest way to chop through a large diameter metal pole. Diablo blades are regarded as the toughest and fastest cutting blades, they can last through a LOT of metal poles or pipes, but they come at premium.
I hear good things about Diablo.

I was kinda surprised that the circular saw (aka skilsaw) was the most effective. I would have thought a specialized angle grinder to be the most effective but it makes sense that something with a larger blade and more torque with the right blade would be best.
Angle grinder abrasive cutting wheels are mostly only better for cutting through hardened lock hasps where the teeth of a circular saw blade would chatter and bounce off.
Yeah, the angle grinder is for what the name suggests, not chopping. Circular saws have 1/8 wide flat faced carbide teeth that work like little chisels with each pass.

Yes, and as someone else noted, the overwhelming majority of them aren’t on public highways
