Idk what the issue is though, I didn’t modify your script other than the text, and it usually works on thread reply boxes, but occasionally does not. This is on Android :google-cool: 11 and the latest Iceraven, with Violentmonkey…E: it’s new tabs! If I open a new tab, I have to click a link within a page (and initiate the spinning bear load) before it inserts it into the textbox.

I’ve had this idea rattling around in my head that when you strip out all the very human perceptions of our world, of money and political power and the like, what your left with is this: the profit motive is, physically, entropy maximization. Why, in the 21st century, is petrolium still our primary energy source? Min/Maxing effort. Entropy.
Why are we burning so much CPU time to solve math problems to scrape data to train a model with diminishing returns? Entropy.

That thing all the AI Risk techbros have been publicly wringing their hands about, the paperclip maximizer, does actually exist. They just never noticed because they expect it to be computer.
It’s called the publicly traded company and the paperclips are shareholder value.

Using random homes’ smart appliances to bypass ip bans to scrape data for AI training is spectacularly creative in its evil, especially because the power consumption costs for passing anubis just go to the appliance owners. I wonder how much the appliance vendors sell these data contracts for.
I banned most of the crawlers now but for a while they would legit saturate my entire upload bandwidth with request for html rendered commits.
