Fuck. I was loosing hope with the carney government for a minute.

Let’s hope we do indeed push back harder. Fuck Trump and little band of raping oligarchs.

I’ll take the hardships in Canada if it means that piece of shit falls even harder in the midterms.

To any Americans reading this: get out and vote. Spread the word and vote. Get all your peers, families, and friends to vote.

Stop this nonsense. He’s done so much harm to the American reputation already.

I don’t know how much credit I’m willing to give Carney just yet, I think a lot has to go to the premiers like Kinew who have been standing up to the US.

Yes. I would tend to agree with your statement but I don’t think the premiers have much to do overall either those trade negotiations going on at the top level. I’m sure the negotiators take their wants into consideration.

Kinew however is my idol for Canada at this point.

Let’s go. Yes it will be painful but it’s a view on long term strength. Cant wait to see the new last minute terms they introduced to kill this deal. It will prove all along what has been said: that they are unreliable place to do business.

What part of their unregulated food industry did we just avoid? How much free access to our water did they demand? How many military bases did they want on Canadian soil? How many seats on committees did they demand?

We are lucky the americans so helpfully showed their lack of good faith before it was signed instead of the following Tuesday.

I also was totally expecting a handshake deal followed by renegging on the terms a couple days later.

But it seems instead, the Trump admin’s negotiation strategy is the Craiglist “I know I said OK to $40 but I’m already here and I only have $25 cash on me” gambit.

They have worked hard, in good faith

Well there’s your problem. The US isn’t a partner to have good faith negotiations with, they’re literally the enemy
