Not to be a vindictive bitch that says he deserves this but… why should we believe him about this when it’s known he’s a lying piece of shit?

Not that I care about him in particular tho, however, see|s kinda ironic that he escaped Europe to avoid being prosecuted and ended in a prison that has worse conditions than any prison he would have faced in Europe.

Boy i was getting ready to be so outraged until halfway through reading the tweet i checked the name lol. Good for him.

  • Fuck Andrew Tate, but also, fuck condoning the mistreatment of any imprisoned person. I work with folks coming out of prison and it is incredibly common for them to be forced to drink unsafe water and the health effects follow them for years. No one should have to live like that.

I commend your position, its clearly superior to my own.

I would still like an exception made for cases of “special asshole leopard irony”

But the more I think of it, arseholes like him will probably sue and get a fat settlement, while the problem still does not get fixed.

    • Nah he’s whining about some bullshit 100% guaranteed. Not to say that prisoner mistreatment doesn’t exist, but I don’t believe whatever he claims unless he provides some form of proof.

This guy is part of the group of people who fought against rights, this cascaded into rights for prisoners like him.

He is just reaping what he had sown.

      cruel and unusual punishment…

i believe in rehabilitation, even for fucks like this. And even if they can’t be rehabilitated, they deserve clean water at the very least.

Those were only the conditions while the social contract lasted.

Now anything goes, even the AM treatment is appropriate for these “people” as far as I’m concerned.

I don’t believe anything he says. In another tweet he claimed that he had no contact with the outside world. The man is posting to the world on a public platform. He clearly has internet access and contact.

      • Possibly, but typically, when someone is incarcerated and posting online, they do so via an intermediary such as their attorney or a family member. One has to imagine that Tate is not managing his own social media presence even when he’s not locked up. I have no idea if that post accurately reflects the conditions he’s being held under, but I do know that it accurately reflects the conditions of millions of incarcerated people in the U.S., which is fucked and should be changed.

Tate still lied about having contact. If he didn’t have any contact, then someone wouldn’t have been able to post his words for him. He made similar posts when he was arrested in Romania. This is just a tactic for attention. Hes an abuser trying to make everyone think he’s a victim.

          • What’s your point? My original post started with “Fuck Andrew Tate.” I agree that he’s an abuser. It doesn’t change the fact that inhumane conditions are rife through our carceral system. How is the idea that literally everyone should have clean water controversial?
