All that does is make markets more fragile. Markets like stability, even if a few individual chodes with enough money already can profit from instability.
They profit when companies lay off workers. They profit when companies sell to foreign interests. They profit from inflation.
They profit from our loss. They are stealing from us every day.

I love the show but there are valid arguments that Jim was an asshole.
Most of Jim’s pranks prey on Dwight’s fascist personality flaws. For example, he pretends to be the FBI and sends Dwight on “secret missions”. Dwight eagerly obeys the “federal police”, because he’s a fascist.
