All of these screenshots are taken using touchscreen mode only. I also have plasma mobile running on it. I’ll post pictures of that soon.
Librewolf browser with Bonjourr.fr home page. (Used CSS to customize layout for mobile. )
Stock Spotify for Linux.
Newsflash rss reader.
All in all it wasn’t a terrible experience getting it all set up. Def worth the time.
How good is touchscreen desktop operation? Moving/copying/renaming files in Dolphin. What about right click? Gwenview and Okular scrolling and pinch to zoom?
I used Plasma on an Atom tablet like 8 years ago and am now wondering if I should again look into tablets/hybrids. Also what is Plasma mobile like with mouse and keyboard and is it significantly better with touch?
Sorry for so many questions, just curious what is software like before dropping money on hardware.
Do you have the webcam and other peripherals working? I looked into putting linux onto a surface a while ago, and at the time I came to understand that Microsoft runs a lot of that stuff through a propriety chip that is not well documented and therefore poorly supported on linux.
This is the reason I didn’t try it with my surface.
Very nice. Definitely better than what it came with.
I’m curious about that wallpaper clock, it looks really nice. The one I’m using looks blocky and plain in comparison.
