I’m constantly trying to help people pirate. It’s wild to me how hard it can be to get people to do it.
Torrenters : Communitarian / communist, sharing to strangers for the communal good.
Service-enjoyers : Individualist consumers, paying to rent data (not own it) from capitalist media companies, shares nothing to the community.
They’re charging more now to rent than it costs to buy, it made sense if you didn’t want to keep something, but now the consolidation and enshittification has kicked in and there is zero value to “streaming” period.
What about ppl like me who have a full ARR setup
Good of course, as long as the torrents stay seeded (at least to a certain ratio). I haven’t kept up with all these sonarr advances over the years.
Why edit an AI girl into the picture instead of the original?
It doesn’t even match the art style.
Maybe they were trying to make the character smile and AI (doing as AI typically does) decided they should make him into an anime girl.

Like it would be really weird to use a picture representing a person looking at a screen and have them not even looking at the screen, for example.
