I mean, there’s a whole bunch of ships poised for battle in the region. Maybe we just adjust the aim a little bit.

Do you know why the Golan Heights is occupied by Israel?

Israel occupied the Golan Heights during the 1967 Six-Day War, primarily for strategic military reasons and national security concerns. Historical Context The Golan Heights, a strategically significant plateau, was captured by Israel from Syria during the Six-Day War in June 1967. This conflict involved Israel and several Arab nations, including Syria, Egypt, and Jordan. The area was of military importance due to its elevated position, which allowed for surveillance and artillery fire into northern Israel and surrounding regions. Following the war, the Golan Heights was placed under Israeli military administration, and settlers began to move into the area shortly thereafter. Wikipedia +2

Golan heights is not only occupied but it is colonized . While temporary occupation can be legal settler colonialism is never legal. You are using the same stupid argument as all other imperialist countries like Russia claimed that Ukraine joining nato would mean a base in it to attack Russia .

The 6 days war was not a defensive based on Israelis and Americans officials

The Egyptian Army concentrations in the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him.” - Menachem Begin

They attacked on a Monday, knowing that on Wednesday the** Egyptian vice-president** would arrive in Washington** to talk about re-opening the Strait of Tiran**. We might not have succeeded in getting Egypt to reopen the strait, but it was a real possibility. - Dean Rusk, the usa Secretary of State of that time

We would send a tractor to plow some area where it wasn’t possible to do anything, in the demilitarized area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn’t shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance farther, until in the end the Syrians would get annoyed and shoot. And then we would use artillery and later the air force also, and that’s how it was. - Israeli general Moshe Dayan

The murder of women and children during 7 of ocober are war crimes. The same war crime israel commited for 78 goddamn year. Do you realize that settler colonialism is genocidal by default and is the physical extermination of the local people to replace them with foreigners?
