a few details:
- you can’t include the https:// prefix on links likd this, they’ll refuse to mask. you also can’t have pure whitespace mask a link. they did a surprisingly good job at filtering character lookalikes
- you get a big ass warning when clicking it that clearly shows where you’re going
- bots were able to do this for a while now
