    it’s nice, but it’s been over a decade since people started talking about needing a $15 minimum wage, with inflation that same value is more like $20 now

      Maybe decimate a few greedy fucks’ ability to buy a third car or something, and good. I hope it does.

      My job gives me market-based raises, so I’m hoping this cash rolls uphill. We’ll see.

    Great news, and not trying to shit on a win, but it obviously isn’t enough. Yes, it’s better, but nobody can support a full family, house, and vehicle by themselves on that.

      2/3 of the US states still hold to the federal, a measly $7 an hour, so this feels pretty huge to me. It’s definitely just a start, but a good one.
