The Heritage Foundation is erupting in open revolt against its president, Kevin Roberts, as the right-wing think tank struggles to deal with internal and external anger over his defense of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The furor began after Carlson invited Nick Fuentes, a white nationalist who routinely espouses antisemitic views, onto his popular podcast. Roberts then posted a video that castigated a “venomous coalition” and “the globalist class” for attacking Carlson, whom Roberts called “a close friend of the Heritage Foundation.” Numerous Heritage staffers and conservative figures said the comments played on antisemitic tropes.

Right there in his own words for those that care to see. He lovingly caters to a class so wealthy that they feel no allegence to any country or nation. While at the same time decrying globalists. It’s not contradictory though. The term globalist is just another dogwhistle in the long history of fascist dogwhistles.

      This is an excellent point.

The term globalist is just another dogwhistle in the long history of fascist dogwhistles.

Traitorapist Trump getting billions of $$ from the Saudis for his “cybercoin” he invented out of thin air makes him quite the globalist also.

it’s amusing to see the free speech crowd and their in-fighting. they spent years enabling the nazis among themselves, letting them know it was OK to come out of the woodwork, and when they finally do and take over the party, suddenly republicans are shocked.

Shame the worst that will happen to them for trying to manufacture an apocalypse to keep Big Oil on top, is they break their own movement playing the blame game.

And none of them will be hung in a public square like they should be.

Good. Let the fascists destroy themselves over all the bullshit minutia around their stupid rules while the rest of us continue to love and respect each other.

The guy takes the standard “free speech” position of “I don’t have to agree with your opinion, in order to defend your right to have it”, and they vilify him for it?

I thought the entire conservative schtick was that they had every right to hold offensive opinions, and that the left was wrong to “cancel” them for being assholes.

Tucker is openly anti Israeli genocide and Isreali money in American politics. They’re angry about one of like two things thing he’s actually right about lol. I guess the heritage foundation is really dedicated to being completely wrong and against the majority of the American public opinion on every issue. It is glorious to see that maga is fracturing and turning on itself though
