I found a way to disable release candidates recently. Only windows pro can access it lol.

yesterday morning, i finally pulled the trigger and installed fedora-bazzite on my daily driver/gaming PC. aside from a work computer that is not my responsibility, it was the last system to have a windoze OS.

off and on, for the last 24 hours, i’ve been tweaking and configuring and doing the work of recreating the functionality of my old system. and sometimes i’m like, “man, there’s still a lot to do/learn” and i wonder if maybe i was too hasty.

reading this article and seeing the arguments in the comments… this is not one of those times. so very thrilled not to have to fret about microsoft’s latest user-hostile move.

Windows (more like winloss) users keep staying in windows, DESPITE the red flags, EVEN WHEN THERE ARE LITERALLY 1:1 SOLUTIONS VIA GPU-PASSTHRU AND WINE.

    sigh

    We need a c/anythingbutlinux .

Doesn’t GPU passthru require either a pro or 2nd GPU? And WINE and its dervitives do not work for everything

There are quite a bit of guides for GPU passthrough.

Also, my point of c/anythingbutlinux stands.

Yes, I’m quite aware there are guides for GPU pass through… All the guides I have seen either require a pro grade or 2nd GPU. And even then a lot of anticheats will stop you for using a windows VM. As much as I wish Linux would be the best option for everyone, it’s still a way off from that.
