The other commenter is slightly incorrect. Bookworm’s light novel is complete, but the manga is currently being published. Also, some of the best worldbuilding I’ve ever witnessed, as someone who primarily reads SF & Fantasy for worldbuilding.

the show did “finish” but it really only covered the first of three volumes of the manga.
