It has a big battery, but it’s also a very good efficiency. Compared to ordinary mixed driving in most EVs it’s about 50-60% longer pr. kWh.
Impressive for sure, but curious how this Guinness World Record is different from the 749 mile (1205 km) one Lucid set in June?
Edit: Looks like the Polestar record is for “longest journey travelled by an electric SUV on a single charge” while Lucid was for “longest journey by an electric car on a single charge”.
It differs by 168 miles
I love that it’s not just a brute-force solution, like the electric Suburban/Escalade is (they just have fuck-off huge batteries in an already fuck-off huge SUV)
