IGF statement on the killing of journalist Anas Al-Sharif:
'A short while ago, in Gaza City, the IDF struck the terrorist Anas Al-Sharif, who posed as a journalist for the Al-Jazeera network.
Anas Al-Sharif served as the head of a terrorist cell in the Hamas terrorist organization & was responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians & IDF troops.
The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.’

Working as a journalist at the same time as being a Hamas leader or Israel is full of shit and uses the same tired excuse to kill every journalist.
Murder most foul
The Arabic that the IDF alleges, reads Anas Al-Sharif. There is no Jamal. They even “translated” the numbers. yet they couldn’t bother to write the name correctly…
This is yet another disgustingly brazen fake.
@Saleh
It’s just sickening. They have been running a campaign against him for over a year.Only those who are afraid of the truth kill the those reporting it.

International Federation of Journalists:
- Following a systematic campaign to defame Gaza journalists, “Israel” proceeded to assassinate five members of Al Jazeera channel’s crew.
- The deliberate targeting of journalists constitutes a war crime that necessitates pursuing Israeli leaders and holding them accountable before international justice.
