I was reading the politics thread in this last night. luckily I’ve got my own copy above my toilet, but this shit wild.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish the Republican Party to do whatever it wants.
Oh yeah, that sounds righ…wait…a minute. I’m not an expert, but something feels off about this statement.
Was it the, “promote the general welfare” part? Because we could take that out too.

I think you forgot to remove the “we the people” bit too
We, a few of the People of the United States, in Order to form a more profitable Union, establish Dominance, insure domestic Exclusivity, provide for the private equity, promote the classist hierarchy, and secure the Blessings of Liberty only to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish the Republican Party to do whatever it wants.
