“This Week in Plasma” brings the news that Plasma 6.5 will have automatic day/night theme switching, that you can choose which Global Themes to show on the Quick Settings page, and that you can set dynamic wallpaper coloration to be based on the background color scheme or the time of day, or always light, or always dark.

Awesome! I literally just got an oled monitor so this will be very helpful! Will we be able to pick specific theme options for each mode?
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social I’ve been wanting this for like 1.5 years now, and was doing it by hand for all this time – only a couple of weeks ago I finally wrote a pair of systemd units to automate this, but I’m very happy to hear that that’s no longer needed!
