There are 200 stars in Germany?
I have seen some familiar names among them, but it seems so far only very few “mayor” celebrities have signed.
The two on the list that i would assume to be among the most known inside Germany, Joko Winterscheidt and Klas Häufer Umlauf, are slapstick comedians known for silly stunts, often involving a lot of alcohol. imagine a more tame version of “jackass” as a side gig for moderators.
Otherwise i recognize Marc-Uwe Kling, who is famous for the Kangaroo chronicles and Qualityland. With him i am not surprised to find him on the list as his work is quite political. Karoline Herfurth and Daniel Brühl are maybe known internationally from some movies.

It seems the “old white men” and “old white women” are largely absent. I hope that changes as the letter gains traction.
Shirin David and Ski Aggu are pretty big among young people, actually some of the biggest popstars in Germany right now.
Heike Makatsch, Benno Fürmann, Jürgen Vogel, Max Giesinger, Johannes Oerding, Carolin Kebekus and Giovanni Zarella are also well known among not-so-young people (I know them and I’m not exactly deep into german celebrities).

To quote them, " It seems the “old white men” and “old white women” are largely absent". It’s useful to know which demographics are getting involved in these things.
Yeah I don’t see Takeo Ischi on the list either.
Funny, i once saw Ski Aggu playing in a smaller venue i ended up by chance one day and the guy from the door told me “this is probably a different generation from yours.” Now i feel doubly old.

It once again confirms that there is severe problems in German society when the majority is strongly underrepresented in calling for not arming people who shoot children for fun.
That’s what I thought. Almost done scrolling through the list … so far I know 3 of them and 2 more sound familiar but I have no face for the name.
