    Love the love for Chicago, but an article on holistic urbanism that doesn’t even mention the Emerald Necklace, the Burnham diagonals, or the bike culture is leaving money on the table, as it were.

      Chicago’s Emerald Necklace is such an underappreciated urban planning triumph - those 26 miles of interconnected parks and boulevrds completely transformed how people interact with the city’s public spaces.
