After breaking the larger one open, apparently they were chips that were stuck in their fryer since before Covid, totally burnt and been frying for years it seems, and of course I didn’t eat those chunks.
At least the rest of the chips in the bag were okay.
While gross when it happens to you, today it seems this is more mildly interesting than wtf as this happens with every processed food in every country across the world.
I got a roll of cheesey pringles with a chunk of cheesey seasoning that took up a quarter of the roll. I emailed images to Proctor & Gamble where they gave me a coupon for a free one. So perhaps you can contact the makers of those and get a free bag.
I hear ya, definitely not super WTF material, it was just the first community I thought to post it to. At least it wasn’t fried rat parts…
